I’m thinking this will have been my last session before baby comes. I know a due date is just an estimate and she could come late, but with her due date officially being this week 😲, it’s getting a little nerve wrecking to think of putting anything else on the calendar! I am so grateful for all of the sessions I’ve been able to take these last few weeks. Apparently most new moms get a burst of energy and desire to nest right at the end of third trimester but maybe photographers have a little different genetic makeup because I totally got a burst of creativity and desire to take in as many sessions as I could squeeze in 🙂. Thanks everyone who took a risk on a session with me in my last weeks before due date (because who knew if your session date could have actually been baby arrival date!), hopefully you got a good giggle out of me demonstrating poses for you with my extra big belly, especially anything of the sitting down with knees to the chest nature and hopefully I didn’t say anything too crazy with my fun pregnancy brain. Getting our maternity pictures back means it’s perfect time for a pregnancy update right!? We’re on the single digit count down, just 8 days, basically one week until my due date, which I’ve pretty decided should be called a due estimate because I feel like I have literally no idea when she will actually decide to arrive, could be pretty much anytime in the next three weeks, which is the most interesting mix of exciting and terrifying! That means I’m doing my best to keep a flexible schedule and be (hopefully) ready at anytime!! I’m curious for those mother’s out there, did your baby(s) come early, late or right on time? 📷: @brittneyandcaleb
