I had this bridal shoot scheduled with Jasmine for about 2 hours before sunset when my sessions typically take place, however due to some unforeseen circumstances things got pushed back a bit, but we decided to move on with the shoot. I normally shoot natural light exclusively outdoors, because it is my style, it gives me the look I like and it makes for a simpler set up. However, I had been playing with the idea of using more off camera flash outdoors a little later in the evening or on cloudy days when there just is not much natural sunlight.
Here is an example of my set-up. It was a simple 2 flash set-up, one to illuminate the bride and one behind her to set her apart from the background.
