Winter might be cold, but winter is beautiful, white fluffy snow, bright sunny days and frosty trees. Hailey was so much fun to work with. Not only was she totally up to getting super cold (in a dance outfit) and take some pretty awesome pictures, she is just a totally awesome and caring person, super fun to be around.
The session took place at the Amber Langerud Photography farm near Audubon, MN and was very much so winter inspired with scarves, mittens, a blanket, sweaters and a bit of dance inspiration thrown in as Hailey is a talented dancer and part of the UND dance team.
On a side note, check out those beautiful blue eyes!
Yup it was chilly and we could see our breath at times!
And when I asked Hailey to show me some dance moves she thought would photograph well, she did not disappoint! I love how her kick threw some snow into the air in this photo :).
And I couldn't help but include a little "in between" moment from this super awesome pose (I hope you don't mind Hailey, I just couldn't help myself because your laugh was so great!).
And make a little snow/glitter magical moment. Why not? Ok so cold, really, really cold hands might be why not.
Bring out the old quilt blanket for some winter pictures? I say yes!
If you were wondering, yes this outfit was cold, but it was pretty awesome and we kept it real quick!
And now we are starting to get some beautiful winter, orangy sunset in the background.
We tried that magical snow/glitter shot again, but decided to be smart this time with mittens :)!
Love this session and want to book your own winter photoshoot (don't worry we take pleanty of warm up breaks and reschedule if it is super cold)? Head on over to my contact page and drop me a message!
P.S. Don't forget, I have a pretty awesome Winter Mini Session special going on right now that you just might want to take advantage of!
