Fall Family Portraits | Fun in the Leaves

"I really enjoyed our time with Amber. The hour flew by, and it didn't feel forced. She was really creative with the shots and let us try some things we wanted."
Awe, families like this really make me love photography.  The kids were so full of energy.  When they had, had enough of smiling for the camera, I would have them do something goofy and then get back to focus.  They were always happy to smile for me again after I let them be silly.  I even took out the bubbles for a couple minutes so I could get pictures of mom and dad while they played.

Oh and the princess chair (that's what I call it), their daughter loved the princess chair.  She wanted to use it for all of her pictures!  My favorite part is just how much this family loves each other as you can see in the photos, that just came natural to them.

The photoshoot took place at my farm earlier this fall, just as most of the leaves had fallen for the season.  It was a gorgeous day, probably one of the last for the season.  My husband helped me prep a couple areas in our backyard that have become prime locations to take pictures.  I especially love the paths through the trees.  It works great for creating a tunnel feeling and adding a unique perspective for family portraits.
