3 Things That Make Your Wedding Album Personally You | Detroit Lakes, MN Area Wedding Photographer
If you read my blog, you have probably seen a bit about wedding albums, and maybe even decided you need an album from your wedding day. If you are not yet convinced, check out this article. Basically, it comes down to telling your story and getting the pictures off your computer.
So you want a wedding album, how do you make sure this wedding album is perfect and perfectly you?
1. The first and easiest way to make your wedding album uniquely you is the size and cover color. I am very simple, I like simple and clean so I picked black for my wedding album. Maybe you are colorful and fun, you might pick a great bright color if you are authentically country you may pick a brown or neutral tone. In terms of size, if you like the standard, 10x10 is probably perfect for you. If you like to go big or go home with a huge emphasis on your images, 12x12 would be a great option and if you are more simple and want something small to tuck away 8x8 might be a good option.
2. Let me know if there are any special details or family heirlooms included in your wedding day. These little detail images are great to sprinkle in throughout the wedding album to create interest and remind you of all those special little moments!
3. Let me tell your story. This last part is on me. I will use the different parts of your wedding day to create the different pages throughout your album to carefully tell your unique story and showcase your special memories.
Here are a few images of a wedding album I recently delivered.
I really love my album supplier, the colors and quality of the images never ceases to amaze me, they just pop off the page!
Here you can see the difference in size between the 8x8 and 10x10 album.
This image shows off the thickness of a 20 page album. Twenty pages is the standard size, however if you had a wedding full of details and a fun bridal party and you would like to invest in the additional pages, we could likely easily create a 40 page album.
