THE QUESTIONNAIRE + STYLE GUIDE
This not-too-short, not-too-long questionnaire helps me get to know your personal style and preferences. Then the style guide helps you plan the perfect outfits for your session.
THE SESSION + JEaLOUS FRIENDS
Your session will be the perfect mix of posed strategy and spontaneous fun! Then within 4 weeks of the session you will get access to a full gallery of your images.
Join me in unlocking the secret to creating photos that feel totally you with natural editing for that perfect pop!
Your session starts with a short 3 min style recap where we go through each of your outfits and vision. This helps us place the right outfits in the right locations, lighting and posing to bring your photo dreams to life!
Then after your session, I edit your images in my signature style. You know, that style with just enough bright POP without screaming 'trendy filter'. Because we know you want these photos to look awesome today AND in 10 years.

No need to sacrifice location, lighting, or style for variety. Variety in posing helps us get the most out of every location and outfit during your session! We will take photos standing, sitting, straight on, from the sit, from the front, back, etc.
We don't stop there though, we also will incorporate a variety of still poses and movement.
A private location doesn't have to mean a boring location. We have lots of variety for outdoor, natural spaces! Trees, tall grass, mowed lawn, slew-grass and multiple near-by options including a public lake access within three miles of the farm! We will be able to find the perfect location for each of your outfits.

There is nothing worse than having a great location, outfits and posing but all the photos are tight headshots. At your session we will make sure to get a variety of perspectives. I call this the TIGHT - MEDIUM - WIDE method. Your tight images are your close up headshots, your medium images are your thigh up medium crops and your wide shots show off your rad posing skills and awesome location!

I recommend 2-4 outfits for your senior session. This is the perfect amount for variety in your looks without being overwhelming or making us feel like we need to rush to the next outfit change. As an added bonus for the ladies, I have an extensive posing guide PDF for you after booking that goes through everything from accessories to body type to help you plan your perfect look!

I have horses, can I include them in my session?
Please do!! As a lifelong self proclaimed horse girl, I love working with and photographing horses, see my equestrian portfolio on my horses website.
What if I want my session somewhere else?
No worries! Most sessions do take place at the farm, but I am happy to travel to your location or take your senior portraits downtown Detroit Lakes or at the beach.
Can I Bring a Friend to my session?
YES! It is always a good idea to bring along an encouraging friend. If we have time at the end of your session we may even get some photos of the two of you together!
